Born in Toronto in 1977, Oki Sato is among the 100 most respected Japanese according to Newsweek magazine in 2007. He was awarded «Designer of the year» by the Wallpaper Magazine in 2011. Nendo’s collections can be seen in New York at the Museum of Modern Art and at the Museum of Arts and Design, and in France at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs de Paris and at Centre Pompidou. In 2012, he debuted his first personal exhibition with Specimen,at the Gallery Pierre Alain Challier, in France.
